Kashmir chambers' to organise seminar on good governance
Srinagar, Oct 19 (UNI) The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI) will soon organise a seminar on ''Good Governance Measures'' here.
This was informed by a KCCI deelegation , comprising Senior Vice President N A Dar, Rouf Punjabi and Mohammad Ibrahim Shahdad, who called on the senior state government officials here last evening.
The delegation hailed the efforts of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad for improvement of governance and eradication of corruption in the state.
It assured the Chief Minister that the chamber fully supported his efforts for improvement of governance.
The members said they were ready to give suggestions as and when called for.
The delegation also demanded improvement in road and power infrastructure in the Valley, augmentation of parking places in the city, dredging of flood channels, ban on polythene, conservation of Dal Lake and ban on entry of beggars from outside the state.
