HDFC Q2 net up 23 pc to Rs 368 crore

Mumbai, Oct 19: Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd (HDFC) has posted a net profit of Rs 368.02 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 298.98 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, an increase of 23.09 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 1,048.45 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 1,456.33 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
