Four killed, 2 seriously injured as sunshade collapses

Karur, Tamil Nadu, Oct 19 (UNI) Three women and a minor girl were crushed to death and two others seriously injured, when the sunshade of a house collapsed and fell on them at Maravapalayam village in Wangal, here last night.

Police said the deceased were indentified as K Balasundari (32), A Sellammal (43), R Ashta Lakshmi (25) and M Ilakkiya (6).

Two seriously injured women were admitted to a private hospital here and their condition was stated to be critical.
