Dacoity gang busted

Ujjain, Oct 19 (UNI) A Bangladeshi dacoit gang was busted when four members were arrested and looted materials worth lakhs of rupees recovered from them, police said today.

The culprits, who were put up in the state capital from where they used to plan their dacoities, were arrested yesterday.

Zakir was arrested yesterday morning from Dewas district. Based on his confession, three other accused were arrested.

Inspector General of Police (Ujjain range) Anil Kumar said the accused admitted to committing dacoities in Dewas and Indore. Police were on the lookout for other gang members.
