CM tells Centre not to behave partially
Basti, Oct 19 (UNI) The Samajwadi Party today said the Centre should not behave partially so that development works in Uttar Pradesh could be given a boost.
On the occasion of distributing unemployment allowance and 'kanya vidya dhan yojna', UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav said, ''the opposition parties are nervous because of various welfare schemes and programmes implemented by SP-led UP Government.'' Former Union Minister added ''those who are terming unemployment allowance as 'booth capturing allowance' have lost their senses.
These people want to keep UP behind in the race of development.'' He said since these people led lavish lives, they would not be able to comprehend the grievances of the poor.
UP was continuously forging ahead on the path of development and nobody could stop the state now, because the people were strongly supporting his government and would further extend their support by making SP win the forthcoming Assembly elections.
Expressing concern over the female foeticide, he appealed people to refrain from it and urged parents to ensure their daughter's education.
