Canara Bank Q2 net up 18 pc to Rs 362 crore

Mumbai, Oct 19: The public sector Canara Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 361.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 306.51 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, an increase of 18.02 per cent.

Announcing the results, the Bank said its total income has increased from Rs 2490.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 2,993.23 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
