Bengal Assembly session from November 17

Kolkata, Oct 19: The West Bengal Assembly will sit for a brief session on November 17, Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee said today.

''The Assembly will meet for two weeks from November 17 to 30,'' Mr Bhattacharjee told reporters.

The West Bengal Cabinet, which met during the day, discussed the coming session. A few important Bills are likely to be placed during the session.

The last state Assembly session was held between July three and July 26.
