BD alleges Cong, JD(S) involvement in M'lore viol
Mangalore, Oct 19: The Bajrang Dal today alleged that the Congress and the Janata Dal (Secular) were shielding those involved in the recent violent incidents in Mangalore city and its outskirts.
Talking to newspersons here, its Dakshin Pranth Sanchalak Mahendra Kumar claimed that 35 Muslims from the Dakshina Kannada district had unleashed the violence, which claimed two lives. The Congress and JD(S) leaders were trying to protect the Muslims involved in the ''well planned conspiracy'' as they were more interested in the vote bank, he alleged.
He said the Bajrang Dal had no confidence in a CoD inquiry ordered into the incident and called upon the Government to order a judicial inquiry to ascertain the facts. Outfits like SIMI and ISI too had a role to play in the communal clashes and it could be brought to light only through a judicial inquiry, he added.
Mr Kumar warned that the Bajrang Dal would not remain a silent spectator to the atrocities perpetrated on Hindus. The State Government should find out the root cause of the problem and its solutions.
