Aditya Birla Nuvo Q2 net spurs 11.28 pc

Mumbai, Oct 19 (UNI) Aditya Birla Nuvo Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 53.73 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as against Rs 48.28 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, a rise of 11.28 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) is Rs 912.07 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, where as the same was at Rs 629.07 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
