3 killed, 6 injured in separate explosions

Mainpuri, Oct 19 (UNI) At least three people including two children were burnt alive and six others injured in separate incidents of explosion here.

Superintendent of Police K Satyanarayan yesterday said the explosion which took place under Shahar Kotwali police station area of Sadar tehsil was so massive that the house got collapsed and two children Amid and Priya got trapped in the debris.

By the time nearby people came to their rescue, they had already died. The other five injured were rushed to hospital.

The explosion was said to be caused by crackers, which they had kept in the house.

In another incident, one person was killed and another was injured after crude bomb, which they were carrying exploded under Kurawali police sation area. The injured was rushed to hospital.
