Sony Ericsson unveils W950i phone

Mumbai, Oct 18: Sony Ericsson today announced the launch of its ultra-slim, ultra-stylish touch-screen cellphone ensuring simple navigation through songs classified according to music genres, playlists, individual songs or music albums.

The W950i, claimed to be more than a music phone, as email and Web browsing at the speed of broadband plus a suite of high performance entertainment applications, has been priced at Rs 30,995.00.

The music player within the phone has the functionality and sound quality equivalent to a standalone device. Its 4GB storage can take up to 4,000 songs and the sound quality, delivered through high quality headphones, makes listening to music a real pleasure.

The W950i has all the benefits of a combined phone and music player, enabling multitasking between listening to music, SMS texting, emailing and browsing the Internet, a release said.
