Satyam promoters deny selling stake

Hyderabad, Oct 18 (UNI) The promoters of Satyam Computer Services today denied reports in a section of the media on the sale of their stake in the company to a global systems integrator.

In a statement here tonight, the company said it wished to put to rest any rumour of having entertained either directly or indirectly any such talk or dialogue with any global systems integrator.

The company also clarified it had no intention to do so even in future as it considered such a move to be not in the best interests of its stakeholders.
