Rupee opens strong at Rs 45.22/23 per USD

Mumbai, Oct 18: The Indian currency today opened strong by six paise at Rs 45.22/23 per US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 45.28 per US Dollar and is currently trading at Rs 45.25/26 per US Dollar, as stocks perform at an all time high, a money market trader said.
