Police constable run over by truck

Purulia, Oct 18 (UNI) West Bengal Police constable Jairam Ojha was today run over by a speeding truck at Damda village in the district, Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Prasad said.

The constable, a resident of Ara in Bihar, was run over while frisking vehicles on the road.

Police later seized the truck and arrested the driver.
