Paswan terms Mulayam govt as 'anti-Muslim'
Ballia, Oct 18 (UNI) Union Steel Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) president Ram Vilas Paswan termed the Samajwadi Party led Uttar Pradesh government as 'anti-Muslim'.
Addressing a gathering here last night, Mr Paswan alleged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav posed himself as a well wisher of the Muslims but he never did anything good for the community.
Taking Mulayam Singh Yadav government in the state to task for its pro-rich policies, the LJP President said the farmers were being given a raw deal in the name of developing Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and hi-tech cities at various places. The purpose was to benifit big industrialists at the cost of the farmers, he added.
Slamming the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Mr Paswan said party supremo Mayawati was not true to her words and was engaged in political rhetorics with an eye on vote bank. Earlier, she used abusive language against Brahmins but now she was wooing the community in view of the coming assembly polls in the state, he said, adding the BSP had now become Brahmin Samaj Party.
