Officer caught in vigilance net

Patna, Oct 18 (UNI) Vigilance sleuths today caught red handed an official of personnel and administrative department here while allegedly accepting bribe.

Additional Director General of Police in-charge of state Vigilance Bureau Neelmani said officer Anil Kumar Jha was arrested when he was found accepting Rs 10,000 in secretariat campus from Rajeev Ranjan Maurya, an engineer of Water Resources department.

A team was constituted to nab Mr Jha after a tip off provided by the informant, who was asked to cough up the money for clearance of the file lying with him, the ADG added.
