Moorat trading to be held for essential commodities markets

Mumbai, Oct 18 (UNI) Moorat trading for the new Hindu calender Vikram Samvat year 2063 in essential and non essential markets are as follows : Trading in spot wholesale sugar market will be held on Monday, October 23 from 0830 hrs onwards. However, trading in sugar market will remain closed on Oct 21, 24 and 25, 2006 due to Diwali and Bhau Bheej festivals, traders said.

Moorat trading in metal will be held on October 23 at 1100 hrs and trading will remain closed on October 21, 24 and 25.

Trading in cotton exchange will be held for special moorat session on October 27 at 1330 hrs onwards. However, trading in cotton exchange will remain closed on October 21 to 26 for diwali festivals.

Moorat trading in oil and oilseeds exchange will be held on October 21 at 1815 to 1930 hrs. The exchange will remain closed on October 23 and 24 due to diwali festival.

Bullion market moorat trading will take place on October 21 at 1300 to 1330 hrs and will remain closed on October 23 and 24.

Multi Commodities Exchange (MCX) moorat trading will be held on October 21 from 1800 hrs onwards.

National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (ncdex) moorat trading will be held on October 21 from 1700 hrs to 2000 hrs.
