Former minister's house attacked

Kozhikode, Oct 18 (UNI) Former Kerala Minister and Democratic Indira Congress (Karunakaran) Rebel Leader P Sankaran's house was attacked by unidentified miscreants here last night.

Police said they pelted stones at the Malaparamba residence of Mr Sankaran damaging lamp posts and window panes.

Prior to the attack, his daughter, who was present in the house, received an anonymous phone call threatening him on his proposed move to rejoin the parent Congress Party, they said.
