Castrol India to open more Bikezone centres
Vijayawada, Oct 18 (UNI) To tap the growing motorcycle service market, Castrol India Limited will open more Castrol Bikezone motorcycle service centres by the end of 2006.
Talking to newspersons after launching a new centre here today, Castrol Bikezone Division Business Head Parinjay said the service centre had latest equipments and expert mechanics trained by Castrol to provide quality service to customers.
There were currently 47 Castrol Bikezones operating in 12 cities across the country, he said and added by the end of 2006, the figure would go up to 100 in 18 cities.
Mr Parinjay said the market share of motorcycle service in the country was about Rs 6,000 crore and it was expected to touch Rs 12,000 crore in the next five years.
Currently, about six crore two wheelers were on the roads in the country and the number would go up to ten crore in the next four years.
Presently, the Castrol Limited had a training centre at Chennai to train the mechanics and two more would come up at Pune and Delhi in the next two months, he added.
