Take advantage of loan melas: SBI official

Visakhapatnam, Oct 17 (UNI) State Bank of India General today asked consumers to take advantage of the loan melas to benefit from lower rates and costs.

Speaking at the inauguration of the three-day mega loan mahotsav in the city here, SBI General Manager Network 2 Hyderabad P Jagdish Babu asked consumers to benefit from concessional rates of interest, less margin money and no hidden costs at the loan mela.

He expected the bank to do business worth Rs 150 crore during the mela.

On the occasion, Bank Deputy General Manager S K Chaudhuri released a poster.

Mr Chaudhuri said the bank was planning to open more branches in the city during the current financial year.
