Students call Churachandpur strike on Oct 18

Imphal, Oct 17: The Kuki Students Organisation (KSO) and Churachandpur District Students Union (CDSU) have jointly called 48-hour Churachandrapur district bandh from October 18.

The KSO general secretary said it the bandh was called for failure to lay foundation stone and construction work of district joint administration building here.

The CDSU had submitted a memorandum to the Manipur Chief Minister announcing that it will launch a stir from October 19 if the vacant posts of the two government colleges in the district were not filled up.
