Punjab CMs 'Road Shows' postponed
Makhu, Ferozpur, Oct 17: Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh today said that has "Road Shows" to be launched on October 24 from Nangal have been postponed by about ten days in view of the proposed visit of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to the state on October 27 and 28 and Id on October 25.
Addressing the mediapersons here, Capt Singh said the shows were also meant to be a mass contact programme to gauze problems of the people.
The Chief Minister will move from Nangal to the historic town of Anandpur Sahib and then to Ropar and hoped to cover a distance of 150 kms daily.
The 'Road Show will criss-cross through the villages of the state projecting the performance of his government and interacting with the people, he said.
