PAC expresses displeasure over TTD audit

Tirupati, Oct 17 (UNI) The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) Chairman and former Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu today expressed displeasure over the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's (TTD) auditing system and administration system.

Addressing mediapersons here, after a two-day review meeting with officials of various government departments and TTD administration officials, he asked the TTD officials to systamise the administration and stressed the need to constitute a sub-committee to keep an eye on the TTD funds, which raised objections by the local fund auditing in 2001.

He said, the TTD had not produced certain records for Rs 330 crore in 2001. Raising objections, local fund audit said they had already settled the detailed accounts of that amount.
