No clemency to Afzal says BJP

New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) BJP President Rajnath Singh today said India should snap all the diplomatic and economic relations with Pakistan till Pak-sponsored terrorism is stopped and if needed an action plan be made to demolish training camps there.

Addressing a gathering at a 'dharna' in Sarojini Nagar Market, organised by the BJP Delhi Pradesh against terrorism and demanding hanging of Mohammad Afzal, Mr Singh said the 'action plan' to demolish militant camps be made under the supervision of international agencies.

Terming the present Government's attitude towards terror as insensitive and callous, the BJP chief said while Prime Minister Manmohan Singh announced at a public meeting in Bhubeneshwar that Pakistan was behind the bomb blasts in Mumbai trains and talks with Pakistan should stop, he announced in Havana, just after a month, that Pakistan was itself suffering from terrorism.

''Due to this soft approach today the External Minister of Pakistan has demanded that clemency be granted to Afzal who was involved in Parliament attack case.'' This, he said was an interference in the internal affairs of India and the present Government was insulting public opinion and honouring terrorism, he said.

He stressed that until Afzal was hanged, BJP will continue its agitation.
