Muraleedharan appointed jr world event dy referee

Kozhikode, Oct 17 (UNI) Badminton Association of India (BAI) Vice President and Court Officials Committee Chairman S Muraleedharan has been appointed as deputy referee at the Junior World Badminton Championship to be held at Seoul.

Mr Torsten Berg of Denmark would be the chief referee of the event from November 2 to 11, according to a communication from International Badminton Federation.

In another appointment, Kerala State Sports Council coach A Nazar was appointed as Indian team coach for the Polish International Badminton Tournament to be held at Spala, Poland from October 19 to 22 and Bitburger-Luxemburg International Badminton Tournament in Saar-Lux, Saar Crucken from October 24 to 25, said a BAI communique.

While Mr Nazar has already left for Poland, Mr Muraleedharan would leave here on October 30 to take up the assignment, Kerala Badminton Association sources said.
