Janssen-Cilag to increase strength up to 100 scientists by 2007
New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) Pharmaceutical company Janssen-Cilag today said it will increase the capacity of its research and early discovery laboratories in Mumbai from 50 to 100 scientists by the end of 2007.
Moreover, clinical pharmaceutical research operations will also expand to develop products for use in the Indian marketplace, a company statement said.
Janssen-Cilag, a subsidiary of Johnson&Johnson, is a research-based pharmaceutical company with more than 19,000 employees worldwide and establishments in about 50 countries around the world.
Janssen-Cilag India markets products in a number of therapeutic areas, including central nervous system (CNS), oncology and over-the-counter (OTC) therapies.
