Fresh Western disturbance indicates cool climate in Delhi
New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) The build up of a fresh Western disturbance today indicated a possibility of some rainfall in North India in the next three to four days, a sign that Delhi could witness cool weather in the run up to Diwali, which marks the onset of Winter.
''A western disturbance is approaching and is likely to cause scattered rainfall activity over the western Himalayan Region and isolated rains over the adjoining plains of north India from Friday onwards,''the Met office said.
Continuing the trend of drop in mercury levels under the influence of north Westerlies, the minimum temperature today dropped to 20 degree Celsius, from 21 Degrees. The maximum temperature too remained at yesterday's level of 34 Degree C.
