English cricketers to compete in Pro-Am at Indian Open
New Delhi, Oct 17 (UNI) Taking some time off their busy schedule in the ongoing Champions Trophy, England cricketers Andrew Strauss, Steve Harmison, Paul Collingwood and James Anderson will try hands at different ball game when they tee off at the Delhi Golf Club to compete in the Pro-Am at Hero Honda Indian Open here tomorrow.
The fab four will seek to bury in the fairway, their team's disappointing loss against hosts India on Sunday, and at the same time rejuvenating before taking on arch rivals Australia in Jaipur on Saturday.
Defending champion Thaworn Wiratchant from Thailand and local stars Shiv Kapur adn Jyoti Randhawa are competing as well as three marquee players from Europe.
Main event Hero Honda India Open starts on Thursday and boasts of prize money of 400,000 dollars.
