Bharat Forge Q2 net up 20 pc to Rs 62.18 cr

Mumbai, Oct 17 (UNI) Bharat Forge Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 62.18 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, as compared to Rs 51.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, an increase of 20.10 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income (net of excise) has increased from Rs 388.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005, to Rs 469.89 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
