4 arrested, contraband goods and ganja seized

Aizawl, Oct 17 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) arrested four people, including a woman, and seized about 70 kgs of ganja early this morning from Tuirial area here.

BSF officials said here that acting on a tip off, four people were nabbed and contraband goods worth Rs 3.5 lakh was seized. A passenger, who was going to Manipur, was carrying it.

''We are keeping vigil on the international and state borders as Mizoram is now used as a corridor for smuggling,'' BSF sources said.
