3 buried alive

Mirzapur, Oct 17 (UNI) Three people, including two women, were buried alive when a mound of earth collapsed upon them in Madiaon area of the district today.

Police said some villagers of Daranagar were digging out soil for whitewashing their dwellings this morning, when the earth suddenly caved-in.

Four of them were trapped under the debris.

The deceased were later identified as Sriram Yadav (45), Shahnaz (18) and Rukhsana (11).

Another teenaged boy Ejaj (12) was injured and taken to hospital.
