15 nomination papers accepted after scrutiny

Ranchi, Oct 17 (UNI) Altogether 15 nominations, including those of BJP's Pranav Kumar Verma, Jharkhand Vikash Morcha's Babulal Marandi and Congress' Manoj Kumar Yadav, were accepted after scrutiny of the papers ended today.

In all 20 nominations were filed.

Deputy Commissioner of Giridih, Vinay Kumar Ambasth told UNI that the last date of withdrawal is October 19.

The November six by-election to Koderma Parliamentary seat was necessitated after Mr Babulal Marandi resigned from Lok Sabha in May.
