Women CPI(Maoist) hardcore ultra arrested

Bokaro, Oct 16 (UNI) Police today nabbed a women CPI(Maoist) ultra from Dania Railway station in Jharkhand's Bokaro district.

Superintendent of police Manvinder Singh Bhatia here said acting on a tip-off, police today arrested a CPI(Maoist) hardcore, Sabita alias Bano from the Dania railway station after conducting raids.

Mr Singh said, the women ultra had admitted her involvement in more than 12 extremist operation conducted in the area and had also given important informations about the raids, to the police.

In another incident, police recovered eight feet long and four feet wide landmine having strength of 30 kg from Pilpolo Marg under Nawadih police station area in this district.

Mr Singh said, the landmine was later exploded by the anti-bomb squad.

He said, the extremists were under pressure after police and Central Reserve Police Force captured the Jhumra Hills which was the den of extremists.
