Weston sets up two mfg units in Dehra Dun

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) Eyeing the domestic consumer electronics market, Weston has established two new manufacturing units at Dehra Dun in addition to the seven existing ones in the country.

In addition, the company has also set up its marketing operations in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Orissa, Tamil Nadu and Gujarat.

''The company will soon launch its new range of products in Maharashtra and Karnataka including Temp 14, a TVC with temperature meter, SAT 20 with satellite (direct to home) facility,'' company's Vice President Sunil Sethi said.

Weston exported more then three lakh colour televisions last year to various European and Gulf countries including Germany, France, UK and West Asia, he added.

The total production capacity of the company in the seven units is 1.7 lakh products per month and is expecting a growth of 50 per cent this fiscal.
