UPSC declares IES/ISS results

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) The UPSC today announced the final results of the Indian Economic Service and Indian Statistical Service, recommeding appointment of eight candidates to the IES and 15 candidates to the ISS.

The results were declared on the basis of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2005.

The list for the IES contains names of eight candidates, including two belonging to Other Backward Classes, two from the Scheduled Castes and one from the Scheduled Tribes.

The 15 successful candidates for the ISS include five from the OBC communities.

The UPSC has set up a Facilitation Counter on its campus.
