Twin blasts near West Bengal-Assam border

Siliguri, Oct 16: One person was injured, in two blasts on NH 31 near Bengal-Asom border last night.

The first blast took place at around 1930 hrs in Kumargram block in Alipurduar Sub-division of Jalpaiguri district when a bomb exploded near a tea shop. However, no one was injured.

The second blast took place some 20 minutes later at Haloipotti in which one Manoj Sha was injured.

He was taken to Kamakhyaguri Treatment unit.
