Transfers in J

Srinagar, Oct 16 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government today ordered transfers and postings of some of its officers.

SDM Mendhar Pandurang K Pole has been transferred as SDM Bhaderwah, General Manager DIC, Leh Regzin Namgial has been posted as SDM Khaltsi against an available vacancy.

Deputy Registrar Cooperatives Muzaffar Ahmad Peer has been transferred as SDM Mendhar in his own pay and grade scale and Avtar Singh Chib, Project Manager on deputation to Labour and Employment Department has been recalled and posted as General Manager DIC, Leh.

Meanwhile, the General Administration Department has clarified that the payment of ex-gratia relief to Jammu and Kashmir police personnel who were deployed on duty during the 2002 Assembly polls and were killed or disabled as a result of violence would not be entitled to ex-gratia relief other than or more than ordered by the government on September 11, 2002.
