Three killed in water tank collapse incident

Lakhimpur Kheri, Oct 16: At least three workers were killed and six others injured after a water tank collapsed in a sugar mill here this morning.

Police said the incident took place in Sambhar Kheda area in a sugar mill of the Bajaj Hindustan Group, where an overhead water tank collapsed and nine workers got trapped in the debris.

By the time nearby people came to their rescue, three workers had already died, while the six injured were rushed to hospital.
