Three Bangladeshi cattle lifters lynched

Agartala, Oct 16 (UNI) Three bangladeshi cattle lifters were today lynched by villagers at Khengrabari, about 25 km from Khowai police station in Tripura's west district.

Police here said a gang of cattle lifters lifted a number of cattleheads from Khengrabari tribal village close to bangladesh border.

Realising the incident, villagers gheraoed the nearby forest where the miscreants were hiding.

Two of the three were caught red handed and beaten to death, while another was traced after sometimes and he too met with the same fate.

Police officials from the Khowai police station rushed to the spot and were investigating the incident.
