TDP demands CM's resignation, stages dharnas
Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) The opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) today staged dharnas in front of all district collectorates demanding the resignation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy following the Supreme Court setting aside the clemency granted by the Governor to Congress leader Venkata Reddy.
In Hyderabad, TDP workers blocked traffic at the Ranga Reddy District Collectorate, while in Guntur, former Minister Dr Kodela Shiva Prasada Rao led the dharna.
In Chittoor, the native district of former Chief Minister and TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu, Congress workers organised a demonstration supporting Chief Minister Dr Reddy.
