TDLP seeks YSR's resignation
Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP) today sought the resignation of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy 'owning moral responsibility' for recommending clemency to Gouru Venkata Reddy.
Addressing a press conference at the party office here today, TDP MLAs K Venkata Rao and Harish Reddy said the Chief Minister had been criticising TDP President N Chandrababu Naidu to 'cover up his own misdeeds.' The legislators alleged Dr Rajasekhara Reddy was trying to act like a 'dictator' which, they said, was difficult in a democratic set up.
Former Minister Venugopalachari asked Telengana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) President K Chandrasekhara Rao not to disrepect Telugu speaking people and the Telugu language.
