Tata Metaliks Q2 net down 58 pc

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Tata Metaliks has reported a fall of 58 per cent in its net profit to Rs 4.67 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 11.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.

Announcing this, the company said its net sales witnessed a rise of 40 per cent to Rs 165.75 crore in the September06 quarter as against Rs 118.03 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Total income rose to Rs 168.68 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 from Rs 118.66 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

The EPS decreased to Rs 1.85 in the Sep 06 quarter from Rs 4.37 in the corresponding quarter last year.
