Rs 4.32 cr to be spent on Pahalgam golf course
Srinagar, Oct 16 (UNI) The golf course at the world famous tourist resort of Pahalgam is being upgraded from nine holes to 18 holes capacity at an estimated cost of Rs 4.32 crore.
The tendering process for the project, expected to be completed by the end of 2008, has already started.
This was stated by Tourism Minister Mohammad Dilawar Mir after inaugurating the Senator Pine-n-Peak Invitational Golf tournament at Pahalgam, about 100 km from here, yesterday.
He said the state government was developing a circuit of modern golf courses in the Kashmir valley to attract more and more tourists from across the world.
