Punjab CM's 'Road Shows' begin on Oct 24 from Nangal
Ludhiana, Oct 16 (UNI) With an eye on the next assembly elections, Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh will commence his 'Road Shows' from Nangal township on October 24.
''It is not only a road show but a mass contact programme to know the problems and difficulties of the people'', Capt Singh said while addressing a media conference here today.
On the first day of the 'Road Show' the Chief Minister will move from Nangal to the historic town of Anandpur Sahib and then to Ropar.
''We hope to cover a distance of 150 kms daily'', he added.
During the 'Road Shows', he will also cris-cross through the villages of the state projecting the performance of his government and interacting with the people.
On the same day when Capt Singh begins his 'Road Show' from Nangal, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Shamsher Singh Dullo will commence his 'Road Show' from the border town of Ferozpur.
