Pathan, Munaf, Raina offer prayers at Ajmer-e-Sharif

Ajmer, Oct 16 (UNI) Indian cricket team members Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel and Suresh Raina offered prayers at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Chist here today.

Pathan also offered namaz at the historical Shahjahani Masjid situated at the dargah premises during his ziyarat.

The three cricketers reached the dargah around 0900 hrs in the morning from Jaipur by road and went to the mazar-e-sharif where they laid a chadar and offered prayers.

Cricket fans and admirers assembled at the dargah and jostled with each other to catch a glimpse of their heroes, even though security personnel tried to control the crowd. The two left for Jaipur immediately after ziyarat.

Munaf Patel, was the man of the ICC champions Trophy match against England, yesterday at Jaipur. India won the match easily.
