MPHC exonerates Sunny Deol

Indore, Oct 16 (UNI) The Indore bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court today upheld a lower court's order exonerating Bollywood actor-turned-producer Sunny Deol in a cheque bounce case.

Justice S S Dwivedi dismissed a revision petition by Ms Gurveer Bedi.

In 2002, Ms Bedi advanced a loan of Rs five lakh to Deol for film production, which he repaid through a cheque that bounced. Ms Bedi moved the court of Additional Judicial Magistrate Sarla Balakwar.

Deol deposited the pending amount in court and was exonerated.

However, Ms Bedi went on to file the revision plea.
