HUDA official arrested on bribery charges

Hyderabad, Oct 16 (UNI) The Assistant Planning Officer of Hyderabad Urban Development Authority M Janardhana Rao was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investgation(CBI) today on a bribary case.

The accused was caught red handed at his residence when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 75,000 from the complainant for doing an official favour .

The tainted amount was recovered from his house and he would be produced before the Special Judge for ACB cases here, a CBI release said.
