Geometric Software Q2 net jumps 328 pc

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Geometric Software Solutions Company has posted a net profit of Rs 8.26 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 1.93 crore for the similar quarter of last fiscal, showing a jump of 327.97 per cent.

Announcing the results, the company said its total income has increased from Rs 28.73 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 50.14 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.

As per the Consolidated results, the Group has posted a net profit after minority interest of Rs 10.08 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006 as compared to Rs 3.38 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total Income has increased from Rs 50.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005 to Rs 82.85 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
