DTTDC presents Rs 31.41 lakh dividend cheque to Lt Governor
New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) The Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation (DTTDC) today presented a dividend cheque of Rs 31.41 for the financial year 2005-6 to Lt Governor B L Joshi.
The company has made a profit before tax of Rs 245.63 lakh and declared a dividend at the rate of 5 per cent on the equity capital of Rs 628.25 lakh held by the Government of Delhi in the name of the Lt Governor.
Set up in 1975, DTTDC has been paying dividend constantly to shareholders since 1989-90. In the recent years the Corporation has grown considerably and it's gross turnover is now Rs 61362.00 lakh The shareholding of Delhi Government is only Rs 628.25 lakh and the net worth (accumulated profit) of the Company is Rs 4323.48 lakh as on March 31, 2006.
