Council allows permission in BAMS, PG Courses in Ayurveda College
Shimla, Oct 16 (UNI) The Central Council of Indian Medicine has permitted the Rajiv Gandhi Government Ayurvedic PG College at Paprola to admit students in Ayurvedacharya and other Post-Graduate courses for 2006-07, an official spokesman today said.
A two-member Council team visited the College recently to assess the available teaching and practical training facilities for the courses besides other infrastructure development in the campus.
The spokesman said the decision to allow admissions to various courses in the college was taken after the state government responded positively to a few queries raised by the team.
The HP University was requested to hold the entrance tests for BAMS and other PG courses, which were held on October one and eight for the 2006-07 session, he said.
While the results of the BAMS courses have already been declared, the counselling would be held shortly, he added.
